On Tuesday 5 April, in Helsinki on Senate Square, we’ll say out loud that it’s time to lift the municipal sector out of the pay gap. There will be community spirit, two prominent musicians, and you and as many of your friends as possible!
The labour dispute of the municipal sector continues because the employees have not been offered proper pay raises in the negotiations or during conciliation.
Children’s nurses, cleaners, elderly care professionals and numerous other star professionals of the municipal sector deserve a fair pay, right? If you agree, come to Senate Square in Helsinki on 5 April and say it out loud! Bring all your friends, too. The Payday demonstration is organised by JHL, Jyty and JUKO.
There will be programme activities between 5 and 7 pm. The event will be hosted by Ina Mikkola, musicians Jonna Tervomaa and Paleface will perform.
Click now to sign up for the event on Facebook, and share the link! Let’s get together on Senate Square!
P.S. Also download a flyer of the event and put it on a visible place, for example on the notice board of your workplace or school!
