JHL’s regional offices to re-open at the beginning of April

21.3.2022

We seem to be slowly overcoming the worst misery caused by the coronavirus. At the least, we have reached a phase where the union’s regional offices can resume their on-site operation. There will be some changes to opening hours and visiting.

The coronavirus period forced JHL’s regional offices and central office, among others, to start providing service remotely. During these exceptional times, the offices have been providing service by digital connections and by phone.

According to current forecasts, the epidemiological situation is developing for the better. Because of this, we can get back to serving members personally, face to face.

As of 1 April, you can again visit the JHL office of your region to take care of union matters on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9 am to 3 pm.

Only the unemployment fund will answer questions related to unemployment security

Please note that the regional offices cannot anymore provide service to members in matters related to unemployment security. This has to do with the Financial Supervisory Authority’s stipulations on unemployment funds. To ask questions about daily unemployment allowance, use the unemployment fund’s own service channels.
