Train conductors in HSL area are on strike on 8–9 May 2025
The strike of train conductors in HSL commuter traffic starts on Thursday 8 May at 12.01 am and ends on Friday 9 May at 11.59 pm.
VR threatens to dismiss the train conductors who work in HSL commuter traffic and replace them with security stewards, whose collective agreement is cheaper for the employer. JHL does not condone collective agreement shopping.

The JHL members in the technical, energy and traffic sector are usually maintenance professionals, facility maintenance employees, electricians, electronics assemblers and tram, bus and metro drivers. This group also includes gravediggers.
