New collective agreement for the Finnish Seamen’s Service

A negotiation result has been achieved in the collective agreement negotiations of the Finnish Seamen’s Service, and JHL’s Executive Committee has approved the new collective agreement.

The collective agreement negotiations of the Finnish Seamen’s Service have ended, and the new collective agreement is ready. JHL’s Executive Committee has approved the new terms and conditions of employment.

– It was time to revise the agreement because all state support for the Finnish Seamen’s Service has ended and personnel has been significantly reduced. We managed to keep the most important benefits in the collective agreement, comments JHL’s bargaining specialist Jussi Päiviö.

The personnel of the Finnish Seamen’s Service will be separately informed about the contents of the new agreement.
