Webinar on Thursday 13 November: What would a period without a collective agreement mean for employees in the private early childhood education and care sector?

11.11.2025

Collective agreement negotiations of the private early childhood education and care sector have been in progress for a long time, but so far there is no result in sight. If an agreement is not reached by the end of the year 2025, the sector will face a period without agreement. In our webinar on 13 November at 5 pm, you can hear what that would mean for you if you work in this sector. The webinar is in Finnish.

Tension is building around the collective agreement negotiations in the early childhood education and care sector. The sector is currently subject to the collective agreement for the private social services sector, which ends on 31 December 2025.

If new collective agreement terms and conditions are not agreed by the end of the year 2025, the early childhood education and care sector will be left completely without a collective agreement. Trade Union JHL has pursued the new collective agreement for the sector since autumn 2024.

What would a period without a collective agreement mean for our members who work in this sector? JHL’s experts will answer this question in a webinar that starts at 5 pm on Thursday 13 November. The webinar will be in Finnish.

Register for the event by 12 November

In the event you can learn the latest news about the situation in the collective agreement negotiations of the sector and get advice for a period without agreement.
