The greatest surprises of the Alvari festival are a number of amazing comeback performances. Glam rock band Negative makes a long-awaited comeback, Tasavallan Presidentti Complete brings the legendary sound of Finnish prog rock back on stage, and Paula Vesala will return with a strong and visual performance.
The performers on Friday 10 July are Paula Vesala, BEE, Happoradio, Maija Vilkkumaa, and Don Johnson Big Band.
Saturday 11 July features Negative, Egotrippi, Tuure Kilpeläinen, Tasavallan Presidentti, Von Hertzen Brothers, and Leavings-Orkesteri with vocalist Timo Rautiainen.
The park becomes a summer world where you can enjoy music as well as a colourful carnival procession, outdoor games, a fragrant lemon garden, an outdoor brunch, and more.
Sitruunapuutarha (lemon garden) is a calmer oasis for those who appreciate spaciousness, seamless services and a little more elevated experience. The number of tickets to Sitruunapuutarha will be limited to 350 per day.
You can order for your summer festival day a brunch in the park for €42 per person or a pre-packed picnic bag for two for €25 as an additional service.
