JHL’s Union Council is elected in the end of winter 2027. Do you want to influence the future of your trade union?

Nomination of candidates for JHL’s Union Council elections will start in October 2026. In the Union Council you can participate in deciding what your trade union should focus on.

The term of Trade Union JHL’s Union Council is approaching its end.

JHL’s next Union Council elections will take place in early 2027. The term of the Union Council is five years, and it consists of 120 elected members.

The Union Council is Trade Union JHL’s highest decision-making body. The Union Council members decide on things like the overall direction of the union’s operations and activities and how the union spends money. For example, the Union Council decides the amount of JHL’s membership fee.

In its first meeting the new Union Council will choose JHL’s President and two Chief Executive Officers for a term of five years.

Nomination of candidates for the Union Council elections will open in October 2026. In order to be eligible for nomination, you need to join JHL at the latest on 30 September 2026.
