Improvement to membership benefit: Coverage of Turva traveller insurance is extended to children under the age of 18

19.11.2024

The age limit of children covered by the member’s traveller insurance rises from 15 years to 18 years in the beginning of the year 2025. You will find your travel insurance card in future in TaskuTurva app. Download the app now, and you could win a smartphone.

The Turva traveller insurance that comes with JHL membership gets better. From the beginning of the year 2025, the traveller insurance will cover the JHL member’s own children, own grandchildren and spouse’s children who are under 18 years old and travel with the member. The insurance policy will also cover children who are under 18 years old, live in the member’s household and travel with the member.

Until the end of the year 2024, the cutoff age for children covered by the insurance policy is 15.

Learn more about the traveller insurance on our membership benefits page.

Download TaskuTurva – you could win a smartphone

If you download the TaskuTurva app now, you have a chance to win a smartphone! When JHL’s plastic membership card gets replaced with a mobile card on 1 January 2025, JHL’s travel insurance card will be available only in Turva’s TaskuTurva app (only in Finnish).

JHL members who download the TaskuTurva app by 20 December 2024 participate in a prize draw where one lucky winner gets a Samsung Galaxy S23 phone. The value of the prize is €549.

To participate in the prize draw and see your insurance coverage and membership benefits in TaskuTurva, you need to authenticate with online banking codes or Mobile certificate and confirm your trade union membership when you sign in to the app for the first time.

Download TaskuTurva into your phone from your device’s app store or visit Turva’s page to learn more about the app and the prize draw.
