The local amounts of the SOTE agreement and HYVTES move from October 2024 to February 2025, the postponement will be compensated

23.9.2024

The agreement parties have agreed on moving the local amounts of the SOTE agreement and HYVTES collective agreement.

These amounts have been agreed in the collective agreements as amounts set aside for pay harmonisation, development of remuneration and implementing pay systems. In the SOTE agreement the local amount is 2.5%, and in the HYVTES agreement it’s 2.0%.

The local amount will be paid from 1 February 2025 onwards instead of from 1 October 2024 onwards. One of the reasons for this postponement is that the pay system reforms of both the SOTE agreement and HYVTES are unfinished.

Because this move means that the amount will not be paid between October 2024 and January 2025, two one-time payments will be paid to compensate for that. The first one will be paid in December 2024 and the second in February 2025.

More information about how this solution is implemented is available in Finnish in our presentation and in the following Local Government and County Employers KT’s circulaires that the parties have prepared together:

  • Circulaire for the SOTE agreement
  • Circulaire for the HYVTES agreement
