Your trade union JHL offers an interesting selection of training that is free for members, including courses in English and Easy Finnish! It’s time to register for courses in autumn 2025. Use this valuable membership benefit and sign up for training.
Autumn is starting, and as usual, we offer free training opportunities for our members.
We take care of travel costs, course fees, accommodation and meals of the course participants. You can view the current course selection in our course and event calendar (in Finnish).
We organise training in several locations. Most of our courses are at JHL Institute in Helsinki.

Registration for courses ends about five weeks before the course starts. Hurry up if you want to participate in the courses organised this autumn! In September and October we offer for example these courses that are tailored for our immigrant members:
Know your rights, 24 to 26 September
The course provides information on your worker’s rights and more information about the collective agreements used in JHL’s working sectors. Register by 25 August!
JHL tutuksi selkokielellä (What is JHL in Easy Finnish) 2 to 3 October 2025
At this course you will learn in Easy Finnish how JHL protects its members’ interests and rights. We will discuss the rules of working life and your rights as an employee. After this course, you will know what Trade Union JHL is, as well as what valuable benefits you get as a member. You will also learn how you can get involved in JHL’s activities. Register by 25 August!
