Free courses for those who work/aim to work within early childhood education and care

28.9.2023

The Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is offering free-of-charge courses to those working within early childhood education and care, and to those aiming to work in the sector. There are courses in both Finnish and English.

The social welfare sector courses offered by Metropolia are part of a project financed by the Ministry of Education and Culture named AMKosaaja. The courses aim to strengthen the competence of those working within early childhood education and care, help them stay in the sector, and support those who want to work in the sector.

During this autumn, seven free-of-charge courses are offered. Some of the courses will already start on 1 October!

The courses as a whole are worth 1–5 study points. One study point equals approximately 27 hours of work. Because the studies develop students’ working life skills further, you should talk with your employer about participating in them.
