Even better service for members – JHL’s membership register is going to be reformed

2.6.2025

A person is sitting at a desk and making notes.

JHL moves to a new membership register system in 2026. JHL members get in the reform an e-service that has everything they need for taking care of their membership matters.

Trade Union JHL moves to a new membership register system in 2026. The membership register system has a major role in the union’s services and the members’ communication with the union. With the new membership register, we will be able to serve our members even better.

New JHL application for members

The current member service myJHL will be replaced with a new e-service that can be used on the phone as a browser based application. The e-service is handy also for viewing your membership card, courses and events and the contact information of your shop steward.

You can furthermore use the e-service to easily send a message to your shop steward, local branch or the union if there is something that you want to ask.

Shop stewards can also use the e-service to communicate directly with the members who they represent, as well as view and update these members’ information and explore member statistics reports.

The new system makes things easier for branches

The membership register reform and the new e-service will also benefit JHL’s member branches.

The e-service has features that are designed for branches and actives. Branches can use it to notify their members of upcoming events and to send messages to branch members and the union. Documents can be sent conveniently and visibly through the e-service, and it offers an easy access to member statistics.

We are excited about this versatile tool that offers everything important in one place. We will tell more about the new system and its launch date later. Stay tuned!
