Trade Union JHL wants to reward you for being active in bringing new members! When you recruit new members to JHL, we reward you with Bonus Awards products! We update the rules of the Bonus Awards system this autumn. Read this article to learn what the key changes are.
Recruiting new members to join JHL becomes even more attractive in the beginning of October as we update the rules of our Bonus Awards system.
At the same times as the rules of the system change, we add a number of different company and product gift cards into the Bonus Awards shop. This means that you can choose from an even bigger selection of items that you can earn by getting new members to join JHL!
This is how your trade union rewards successful member recruiting
You will receive 30 points for each new member who pays a membership fee, and 12 points for each new student member. Every JHL member can become a member recruiter, read the instructions here.
Points for fee-paying members will be recorded in the member recruiter’s information when the first membership fee has been paid. Points for student members are recorded immediately.
This is how the Bonus Awards rules change on 1 October 2025
We update the rules of the Bonus Awards system in the beginning of October. Keep reading to learn what the key changes are.
Your member recruiter points will no longer expire, but you need to log into the system at least once a year
Member recruiter points will no longer expire. However, you will need to remember to log into your account in the system at least once a year. If you do not log into your account again within a year from the previous login, the account and its points will be removed from the system. This is due to data protection requirements.
Student members can no longer choose money instead of products
Student members have had the option to redeem points for money. Now this option is removed. However, we have added quite a number of different company and product gift cards in the Bonus Awards shop, and you can use your points to redeem these gift cards.
Until the end of the year 2025, student members can still redeem for money old points that were earned before 1 October 2025.
Bonus Awards can also be purchased with money
In the new service you can use points, money, or a combination of points and money to get the products that you want. This means that if you do not have quite enough points for the product that you want, you can pay the missing amount with euros.
