The representatives of the employees and the employers have agreed on a level pay system that is going to be included in the general collective agreement for the municipal sector.

The principal negotiating organisations JAU ry, JUKO ry and SOTE ry, and the employer organisation Local Government and County Employers KT have reached a negotiation result on Monday 16 December 2024 regarding a level pay system that is going to be included in the general collective agreement for the municipal sector (KVTES). Public Sector Union JAU is formed by trade unions JHL and JYTY.

More information will become available after the executive bodies of the parties have discussed the negotiation result.

A circular about the new level pay system for KVTES is expected is to come out in January 2025.
