How the holidays affect JHL’s service hours

Some of JHL’s services will be closed for the holidays. However, our digital member service myJHL is available every day of the year.

The holiday season affects Trade Union JHL’s service hours.

The following services are closed from 24 December to 6 January:

  • JHL’s switchboard
  • the central office reception
  • regional offices

The telephone and email services of Education Advice are closed from 24 December to 8 January.

The telephone services of Membership Service, Employment Advice and Payment Service are closed from 24 December to 1 January. You can call these services again on 2 January.

Our digital member service myJHL is always open. You can take care of things there any time of the day and any day of the year.

This holiday season Trade Union JHL makes donations to Finnwatch and the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters

The holiday season affects the services of the unemployment fund as well

Christmas and New Year affect the services of the Public and Welfare Sectors’ Unemployment Fund, too.

The customer service of the unemployment fund is closed

  • for Christmas from 24 to 26 December
  • for New Year from 31 December to 1 January
  • for Epiphany on 6 January.
