In many of JHL’s agreement sectors, the agreement period will come to an end on 28 February. A so-called period without agreement will begin on 1 March in, say, the municipal sector, the Finnish state, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, and in the railway sector. Note that this will not lead to a “Wild West” in terms and conditions of employment.
Trade Union JHL has terminated its cooperation agreement with the company Teboil. Teboil is a subsidiary company of Lukoil, a Russian oil company. Ending the cooperation is a protest to Russia’s military actions in Ukraine.
Friday 18 February is the last day for postal voting in Trade Union JHL's Union Council elections. If you vote by post, mail the voting envelope by tomorrow at the latest. Electronic voting ends at the beginning of March.
