The wages of the municipal sector’s hourly-paid employees will be reviewed as of the beginning of October. JHL and Local Government and County Employers KT have come to an agreement on the distribution of the centralised arrangement instalment. The size of the raise is 0.5 per cent.
Members of Trade Union JHL are not involved in the means of exerting pressure that Tehy and SuPer are executing around Finland. JHL reached an agreement on the municipal sector's terms and conditions of employment already in June. The agreements also apply to the health and social services sector.

In August, a number of legislative amendments entered into force. Their aim is to improve the position of those working under contracts with variable working hours. Meanwhile, EU’s Directive on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions was imposed.
