The counting of votes cast in JHL’s elections is complete. The elections result only needs a final confirmation. The power relations of political groups will remain unchanged in comparison to the current Union Council.
The highest decision-making power has now been distributed for the next five years in Trade Union JHL. A new Union Council has been elected for the trade union. Voting in the elections ended on Tuesday 1 March.
There are close to 900 candidates in JHL's elections. Among the candidates, the trade union’s highest decision makers will be elected for the following period. Voting will start on 7 February, find the right tone of voice for you!
Trade Union JHL and Arkea have reached an agreement on the company’s upcoming terms and conditions of employment. JHL’s administration has processed and approved the negotiation result. JHL will end the strike on 1 December at 4 pm.
Arkea Oy, owned by the City of Turku, is again planning to switch to another employer union and transfer the employees to be covered by cheaper collective agreements. The Central Administration of the city has given its blessing to the plan. The city management feels that the savings programme that was previously agreed on is not enough anymore.
