Trade Union JHL, Trade Union Jyty and Juko have filed a one-week strike warning for 3-9 May. The strike applies to ten cities. If no agreement is reached in the municipal sector’s labour dispute, the strike will begin.
The municipal sector’s main negotiation organisations representing employees, JAU (comprised of JHL and Jyty) and JUKO, have filed a strike warning concerning the cities of Tampere and Kuopio to Local Government and County Employers KT and the National Conciliator.
The counting of votes cast in JHL’s elections is complete. The elections result only needs a final confirmation. The power relations of political groups will remain unchanged in comparison to the current Union Council.
The highest decision-making power has now been distributed for the next five years in Trade Union JHL. A new Union Council has been elected for the trade union. Voting in the elections ended on Tuesday 1 March.
There are close to 900 candidates in JHL's elections. Among the candidates, the trade union’s highest decision makers will be elected for the following period. Voting will start on 7 February, find the right tone of voice for you!
The duty of the Jalla-Jalla! network is to make immigrant members better informed about working life and employee rights and obligations. The network was founded in the region of Inner Finland in August 2021. It is JHL's third immigrant network.
JHL’s Inner Finland regional office provides service to local branches and active and ordinary members in the regions of Pirkanmaa and Central Finland.
