Become a student relations officer

A student relations officer familiarises students at secondary and tertiary educational institutions with the labour market and has an important role in conveying information and introducing the union to students. Thus, they are responsible for giving students a positive first impression of the union.

Student relations officers represent specific occupations and are able to offer students first-hand knowledge and new perspectives based on their own personal work experience. Students are interested in learning about the everyday work, levels of pay and general working conditions in the specific fields they are studying.

The work of student relations officers is important in acquiring new members and in promoting JHL among students, who are a major group of potential members.

Student relations officers are key players in the union's activities and play a pivotal role in relations between the union , the regional office , students and educational institutions.
