Who can join?

nuoret_yhteinenpipo.jpg : 31 kB JHL is organised according to local branches ā€“  all JHL employees at a particular workplace belong to the same JHL local branch. When you join JHL, you will become a member of a local branch that represents your sector.

Join JHL if you work for

  • the state
  • a municipality
  • a joint municipal authority
  • a church/ parish
  • a municipal or state owned company or an enterprise
  • an association, a foundation or a limited company  

Join JHL as a student member if you are studying to be employed by one of the above mentioned employers. JHL offers students more than a support membership and pizza discount cards ā€“ with us you will be an equal member with all the rights of a fully-fledged membership.

JHL is the trade union for the new era with a strong focus on young, future professionals. We defend and strengthen your position in the labour market and ensure that as a JHL member you will have the opportunity to make a difference.
