International activities – part of the union’s broad representation of membership interests

Along with increasing globalisation and the expansion and deepening of European integration, representation of members’ interests is becoming more international. JHL’s international representation work is an integral part of the union’s activities and broad representation of membership interests.

Experts from various parts of the JHL organisation participate in the union’s international activities. The International Unit of the Communication and Public Affairs Department is responsible for co-ordinating the activities, and for its part also carries out representational and other international activities.

International interest representation activities are carried out in several ways, by various organisations and in different parts of the world.
